I have been extremely busy lately and haven’t had a chance to update this blog! Horrible, I know…stay in tune with me through my Instagram page (@xstill_illx) to sleep up-to-date about everything I’ve been up to!
i promise to make an effort to post more
I was lucky enough to get called back AGAIN to shoot for Transworld Motocross I shot for them once a few years back, and this time I will be featured in the May 2013 issue Some photos are below. Metal Mulisha provided the bikinis and tanks.
Keep an eye out for the issue!!! Maybe I’ll have some signed ones to give away
Love this lip combo! The liner is Beurre by MAC, and the lip color is Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate #14! The lipstick is long-wearing, I’ve only had to re-apply once today (after I ate lunch.) Very satisfied with the quality for the price point. I’ll definitely buy more colors from this line.
I often get asked what lipgloss/lipsticks I use, so here are some of my go-to colors. While I still use MAC and other pro-level brands, these are a quick grab when I’m in a rush and work just as well as the name brands.
Top (from top to bottom): Wet n’ Wild Megalast liquid lip colors in “Click On My Hyperpink” and “Back to the Fuschia“, and Rimmel’s Stay Glossy lipgloss in “Eternal Flirt.”
Bottom (from left to right): Wet n’ Wild lipstick in 511B, Rimmel’s Lasting Finish by Kate in 14, and Rimmel lipstick in 642.
These products are long-lasting and highly-pigmented, and a steal at less than half the price of the name brands
I worked A3 and San Diego Supercross over the past couple weeks. The photo above is from A3 and I worked with Lindsey Harrod (@lindseyharrod on Instagram) for Metal Mulisha (@MetalMulisha) and MYPLASH (@MYPLASH).
In San Diego, I was accompanied by Amie Nicole again, who worked with me at A2. It was nice to see her again
The possibility of us traveling to Seattle, WA and Las Vegas, NV for those Supercross dates very likely, so we’ll see what happens!!
So, I got this idea from Pinterest, as always, and thought it was cool to share. I wouldn’t really call it an “emergency” kit, but it’s a good kit to store in the car, nonetheless. For me, being a model, it makes life easier because I’m not hauling all of this around in my purse everywhere and everything is just within reach when I need it. It’s also a good idea because you can personalize it to fit your needs, especially if you have kiddos with you in the car.
I bought this cheap little train case at Wal-Mart…
…and I filled it with the following items:
makeup remover wipes
a tide-to-go pen
a manicure kit
Those are just the items I would need on a regular basis, but like I said you can personalize it however you see fit…AND it fits perfectly under your seat so you can get to it quickly!
I love things like this that make life a little bit easier on the go…because I definitely feel like I live in my car sometimes Hope everyone found this handy!
Today I had the privilege to work for Metal Mulisha with these two lovely ladies
To my immediate right is Amie Nicole, and to the far right is Vanessa Kamai. You can follow them on Instagram: Amienicole13 and Vanessa_kamai. We had so much fun talking to fans, taking photos, and walking around handing out swag!
On our downtime we took advantage of the yummy
snacks junk food Anyone who knows me knows that I love Red Vines!!
We were even caught eating Mandingo Pickles, which were out for us to try on each table…they were hot pickles, but they were GOOD! They’re worth it, trust me. Check them out here and order some!
The above photo was taken by Steve Shambeck of OrangeCounty.com.
All in all, I had a great time working A2 today and I am so lucky and blessed to be a part of the Mulisha family. I loved meeting Amie and Vanessa, and it makes my job so much easier to be working with girls that are as nice and down to earth as they are. If you’re attending A3, come by and say hi to all of us!!!
